| 英文描述 | Absence of a segment of the uterus or cervix could occur in any species. Fluid accumulates cranial to the defect. Dx by palpation if possible, surgery or slaughter. In cattle this has been termed 'white heifer disease' because it is common in white Shorthorns, but is not limited to that breed. Tenesmus may follow natural breeding when there is an undeveloped vagina or imperforate hymen. The fluid filled uterus may be seen on radiographs in small animals, and resemble pyometra. |
